LASEXTA PREMIERES THE NINTH SEASON OF 'KITCHEN NIGHTMARES' WITH ALBERTO CHICOTE ON SEPTEMBER 3

The successful programme from laSexta returns with a new edition packed with adrenaline, in which Alberto Chicote will have to confront the chaos, dirt, and anarchy that reign in restaurant kitchens.

'Kitchen Nightmares' returns, the iconic and successful programme from laSexta. On Tuesday, September 3, starting at 10:45 PM, 'Kitchen Nightmares' opens the doors to a ninth season that promises to combine the essential ingredients of this iconic show with new realities, protagonists, and conflicts, all in service of a common goal: to save restaurant owners and eateries on the brink of collapse.

Chaos, dirt, and anarchy in the kitchens will be the main challenges Alberto Chicote will face on laSexta starting next Tuesday.

Once again, the chef will face new challenges so that the restaurants can turn their conflicts or debts into satisfied customers. This season will present a double challenge for Alberto Chicote: dealing with difficult personalities and steering completely lost owners and employees back on track. Challenges he will have to tackle amid dirt and filth rarely seen before, faulty electrical installations, foul-smelling fridges, or insects roaming freely.

'Kitchen Nightmares' has become one of the great cornerstones of entertainment on laSexta. It was in 2012 when Alberto Chicote first donned one of his now-iconic jackets from 'Kitchen Nightmares.' Since then, the chef and the programme's team have visited nearly a hundred restaurants, helping and trying to save them from the most extreme situations with culinary, business, and personal advice. Over the years, Alberto Chicote has relied on perseverance, patience, and tenacity to tackle the challenges and obstacles that have arisen in each restaurant. The chef has not only offered his extensive experience to the protagonists but has also opened up in the most complicated situations, showing his closeness and commitment to each case.

The format has always enjoyed a great following from the audience, accumulating over 36.7 million unique viewers throughout its history, meaning that more than 82% of the population has watched it at some point. Its debut in October 2012 was the second most-watched entertainment premiere in the channel's history (2,802,000 and 13.7%), following 'Undercover Boss' in April 2014 (2,970,000 and 14.6%).

Over these more than ten years, 'Kitchen Nightmares' has achieved a historic average of 10.7% and more than 1.8 million viewers and has been a leader in every one of its seasons against its direct competitor.

'Kitchen Nightmare' is a production of Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Warner Bros. ITVP Spain.
